The World Services Group (WSG) is a multi-disciplinary global non-profit membership organisation. Its members are large local, national and international providers of professional business services (from accounting through executive search to translation services) in countries around the world. The group aims to have more than 70,000 professionals easily accessible anywhere in the world. The legal services section will have more than 20,000 lawyers, making it the world's largest network. 

WSG's primary purposes are to:

• promote their common and mutual interests to provide for their benefit and the benefit of their clients access to services of other members;
• create new products and services that can be offered to clients of members;
• make available to businesses information on state, national and international developments which affect their business operations;
• direct communications among its members, which will improve members’ ability to serve the needs of their individual clients.
  

Membership to WSG is by invitation only and limited to one firm per jurisdiction. Each firm is among the leading firms in their areas of expertise.  Shepherd and Wedderburn is one of the founding members of the group.
