FSA Market Watch Newsletter – Issue No. 32
On 4 June 2009, the FSA published Market Watch No. 32. This edition of Market Watch is intended to help investment firms in implementing MiFID post-trade reporting requirements.
During its risk-based review of whether firms affected by MiFID had implemented their requirements appropriately, the FSA identified some difficulties and possible inconsistencies in the implementation of MiFID post-trade transparency requirements, particularly as they relate to over-the-counter (OTC) trades. In consultation with a range of market participants, the FSA has reached a shared understanding of the appropriate approach to publishing OTC trades which is set out in Market Watch No. 32.
