Investors Show Trust in Commercial Property

CBRE Investors has completed the £18.5 million acquisition of 25-35 Castle Street and 98-102 George Street, Edinburgh.

Shepherd and Wedderburn and DTZ represented CBRE Investors in the deal, one of the largest this year, which was completed on 17 September. 25-35 Castle Street and 98-102 George Street is one of Edinburgh's most prominent buildings, and is a high quality mixed use investment site of retail, restaurant and office space housing a range of high street names such as Cruise, The Pier and Pink.

It is one of the largest acquisitions in Edinburgh this year, which is significant given the unsettled market conditions and demonstrates confidence in well-let investments.
