Mullen who has also spent spells in-house is qualified to practise in both England and Scotland.
Shepherd and Wedderburn chief executive, Patrick Andrews, said:
"Kenneth's decision to join Shepherd and Wedderburn is a real coup for the firm and another major boost to our London operation. We have seen significant growth in IT, telecoms and IP sectors in recent years and we are committed to appointing the most knowledgeable, experienced staff to ensure that these sectors continue to develop.
"Kenneth is already recognised as being an extremely talented young lawyer and his track record of delivery for clients is extremely impressive. We believe that Kenneth can further develop his skills and his client base at Shepherd and Wedderburn.
