Liz is a commercial contracts, projects, outsourcing and procurement specialist with extensive experience in the energy and food and drinks sectors. Liz has played a central role in advising on every major electricity market restructuring in the UK from 1998 (Scottish Settlements) through the New Electricity Trading Arrangement, business separation and the British Electricity Trading and Transmission Arrangements. Liz heads the firm's renewables team advising on projects from inception to commissioning across wind, wave, tidal, biomass and many other technologies. Liz is an active member of the grid regulation groups of RenewableUK and SRF and of the Offshore Wind Strategy Group of RenewableUK and is a regular speaker on issues such as transmission access, offshore grid and supergrid.
In the food and drinks sector Liz advises on all aspects of the supply chain including procurement of raw materials and packaging together with bottling and brewing capacity, outsourcing of production and packaging, sales and trading agreements between businesses and on acquisition of new businesses in the sector.
