We have a leading commercial dispute resolution practice of 40 lawyers working from both Scotland and England.  Our lawyers, led by six partners, act across the public and private sectors in high value, complex and significant cases, finding creative solutions to disputes and advising on strategies to prevent disputes from arising. 

Fundamental to our approach is being frank with our clients in assessing their risk – both financially and in terms of business reputation – and finding solutions that work.  Sometimes that will mean pursuing a case through the courts but often, alternative resolution will be the better option. 

We are experienced advocates and our lawyers appear throughout the court and tribunal system, from the Court of Session, the Sheriff and county courts, the UK unified tribunals, through to arbitrations.  Our mediation expertise is second to none and we have experience of mediating disputes of all types, be they negligence claims or highly complex technical commercial disputes.
