The draft Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2016 were published in February 2016. The final Regulations are being laid before Parliament this autumn and are expected to commence in April 2017, requiring organisations with more than 250 employees to report on their gender pay gap. Affected organisations will need to provide a snapshot of pay information for the pay period of 5 April 2017. Thereafter, employers will have until 4 April 2018 to publish their report.
