Shepherd and Wedderburn restructuring and insolvency partners only Scottish solicitors listed in prestigious global directory

Shepherd and Wedderburn partners Yvonne Brady and Gillian Carty are the only Scottish solicitors to be listed in this year’s prestigious Who’s Who Legal global directory of top restructuring and insolvency practitioners.

Yvonne Brady, head of Shepherd and Wedderburn’s top-ranked restructuring and business advisory practice, and Gillian Carty, an insolvency litigation specialist with considerable experience in director misconduct and disqualification proceedings, are included in the Scotland-wide listing of the international legal directory for the third consecutive year.

Who’s Who Legal and Global Restructuring Review conduct independent, in-depth research of the international legal market to identify the leading lights in insolvency and restructuring.

Yvonne and Gillian’s selection follows a six-month research process which draws on feedback from private practitioners, clients and other sector experts.

The final listings are based on a range of factors, including feedback from clients and peers, past performance and the aggregate number of weighted votes cast in an individual’s favour.

This year’s edition includes 575 individuals practicing across 42 jurisdictions globally, and all of those making the list are “recognised for their market-leading work advising and representing stakeholders in matters across the restructuring and insolvency space”.
